Rehabilitation Specialist
Status: Part-Time | Exempt or Non-Exempt
Program: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
General Description:
The Rehabilitation Specialist oversees care coordination, individualized rehabilitation planning, and service documentation for all PRP participants. As part of a multidisciplinary team, this role involves assessments, person-centered planning, clinical documentation, psycho-social skills training, and service delivery based on the needs of individuals served.
Qualifications:
Licensed Mental Health Professional in Maryland (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LGADC, LCADC, LGPC, LCPC, Psychologist)
ORMaster’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or certification by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification
ORCertified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP)
Minimum 3 years’ behavioral health experience
At least 2 years of clinical supervisory experience
Experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders and complex needs (PRP-A)
Ability to relate to and work with culturally diverse groups
Proficient in verbal and written communication
Basic computer skills (word processing, internet, email)

Direct Care Worker
Status: Part-Time or Full-Time
Program: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
General Description:
Direct Care Workers ensure continuity of care for PRP clients and carry out tasks outlined in the Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP). This role is critical to daily support, skills-building, and recovery planning.
Qualifications:
Genuine desire to work with and advocate for vulnerable populations
High school diploma or GED and:
1 year of supervised mental health experience
ORAt least 30 college credits toward a health-related degree
2 years of PRP-Adult experience (preferred)
Valid MD driver’s license with no more than 2 points and proof of insurance
